Concept site: Gata at Baga is a fictional restaurant. Please don’t try to visit!

Our story

Quezon and Bicol, by way of Kapitolyo

Gata at Baga started with two things every Filipino kitchen knows: a can of fresh coconut milk and a bag of charcoal.

We cook the dishes we grew up eating in Quezon and Bicol, the slow ones, the smoky ones, with a few new ideas from the café side of the kitchen.

Mornings are for coffee and pandesal. Evenings are for the grill. Sundays are for salo-salo.

About this project

Gata at Baga is a fictional restaurant built as a demo of what a Philippine food business’s website could do on a phone: see the menu, check if it’s open, find it, and ask for a table.

The name, address, phone number, menu, prices and hours are samples, and the photos are illustrative stock images. The reservation form checks your answers in your browser and sends nothing.
